If you have been vaccinated abroad and are planning to fly home to Malaysia, it’s important to have those important vaccination details recorded in MySejahtera.
Currently, only fully vaccinated individuals are allowed to enter shop premises and dine-in in restaurants.
Having MySejahtera makes going out easy because it records your full vaccinated status and the same app is used to Check-In and Out of places you’ve been.
Getting the digital vaccination certificate in MySejahtera is a straightforward process and it can be all done in the app.
Here’s how to do it:
1. Open ‘Helpdesk’ in MySejahtera app.
2. Click ‘Option N: I have received my vaccination overseas and would like to obtain my digital certificate in MySejahtera.’
3. Enter your vaccination details correctly.
4. Upload a clear image of your vaccination card or document. Your name, identification card number and vaccination details should be legible (can be read).
Please refrain from uploading irrelevant documents and images. In addition, it’s important to double-check to make sure you give the correct details.
If you’re found guilty of providing false information, you can be charged under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342).
