A new addition to the SOP for states in Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan says that all private and non-government offices that are not listed as essential services are allowed to operate with conditions.
The condition, of course, is the percentage of staff that are fully vaccinated.
If 40% of the staff is fully vaccinated, the office may operate at 60% capacity; if 60% of the staff is fully vaccinated, the office may operate at 80% capacity; and if 80% of the staff is fully vaccinated the office may operate at 100% capacity.
Previously, in the 9 September update, this leeway was only given to those in the manufacturing and construction sector.
As of 17 September, the freedom is extended to the private service sector as well.
However, all essential service sectors approved by the relevant Ministry or Agency related can operate within the NRP period and are still subject to a letter of approval from relevant ministries.
The movement of employees is still subject to registration or operating approval letter or employee pass or employer confirmation letter.
There is also a new addition to the SOP that says in-person meetings are now allowed for fully vaccinated individuals at 50% capacity of the meeting room.
