This weekend is packed with events showcasing local talent and expertise. Topping the list is Art of Speed, where custom vehicles take centre stage. For a musical family day out, KLPac is hosting a free outdoor concert. And if you’re in the mood to explore, there are plenty of pop-up markets and sales happening around town too. Art of Speed Summer Festival 2026 | 1-2 Aug | MAEPS Serdang | 10am-7pm | Ticketed event
Art of Speed (AOS), Malaysia’s biggest annual “Kustom & Counter Culture” event, is back with a summer theme for its 15th edition. The event brings together automotive lifestyle and live music in a single weekend, featuring the best of both local and international creativity. At AOS, guests get to gawk at beautiful custom motorcycles and modified cars while enjoying live music at the SoundCircus.
A major highlight is the first-ever appearance of Japanese tuner Liberty Walk, alongside international guests including representatives from MOONEYES Japan, Vise Clothing, Hawgholic, DicE Magazine, and Hot Wheels Premium. Builders and artists from Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Singapore will be at AOS as well.

Bon Odori 2026 | 1-2, 8-9 Aug | Lalaport | 10am-10pm | Free public event
The Bon Odori festival is back at Lalaport for two weekends. Guests can enjoy Japanese food at the bazaar and watch live and cultural dance performances. Other highlights include a Bluefin Tuna Cutting Show, and Summer Festival Games.
