Chinese SUV maker JETOUR has expanded its Malaysian lineup with the launch of the all-new JETOUR T1, a lifestyle-focused urban SUV that aims to appeal to motorists looking for a blend of modern styling, technology and everyday practicality.
Officially unveiled on 22 July, the T1 enters one of Malaysia’s most competitive automotive segments with two variants priced from RM129,800, offering buyers a choice between a front-wheel drive model for daily commuting and a more powerful all-wheel drive version for those seeking greater capability.

Designed for everyday adventures
Built around JETOUR’s “Travel+” philosophy, the T1 has been designed to handle everything from weekday commutes to weekend road trips with family and friends. The company says the new SUV also represents another step in strengthening its presence in Malaysia as it continues expanding its nationwide sales and service network.

According to JETOUR Auto Malaysia Vice President Nicholas Ng, the company sees strong growth potential in Malaysia’s SUV market as buyers increasingly look for vehicles that combine sophisticated design, intelligent technology and practical everyday usability.
Modern looks with two engine options
The T1 adopts what JETOUR describes as a curvy utilitarian design, featuring Storm-Eye LED headlamps, a bold front grille and sculpted body lines. Built on a monocoque platform with a 2,800mm wheelbase, the SUV is designed to deliver a stable and comfortable ride while offering a spacious cabin.

The entry-level 1.5L TGDi 2WD produces 170PS and 270Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Meanwhile, buyers wanting more performance can opt for the 2.0L TGDi XWD, which delivers 245PS and 375Nm of torque, along with an intelligent all-wheel drive system designed to improve confidence across varying road and weather conditions.

Cabin loaded with tech

Inside, both variants come equipped with a long list of features aimed at improving comfort and convenience.
Standard equipment includes a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, voice assistant functionality, a 50W wireless charger, seven USB ports and a powered tailgate.

The flagship 2.0L XWD adds even more premium touches, including a panoramic sunroof, a larger 15.6-inch infotainment display, a Sony nine-speaker premium audio system, larger 19-inch alloy wheels and a powered front passenger seat complete with a leg rest.
Safety and pricing
Safety is another area where the T1 comes well equipped. Both variants feature six airbags, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a panoramic view monitoring system and have achieved a five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating with an overall score of 87.67 points.

Pricing starts at RM129,800 for the 1.5L TGDi 2WD, while the range-topping 2.0L TGDi XWD is priced at RM146,800 (Peninsular Malaysia, excluding on-road costs).
JETOUR is also offering a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, a 10-year or one million kilometre powertrain warranty, and five complimentary maintenance services. The SUV is now available for viewing, test drives and bookings at all 43 authorised JETOUR showrooms nationwide. Early buyers can also enjoy a RM2,000 rebate for the first 2,000 registrations, along with financing rates from as low as 1.68%, subject to terms and conditions.
