It’s another exciting weekend, packed with highlights like Bon Odori and a Sport Stacking Championship. There’s also plenty of room for creativity, with several arts and crafts workshops and an urban sketch exhibition to check out.
Delicious in Dungeon x Lawak Kampus Pop Up | Until 3 Aug | Tsutaya Bukit Jalil | 10am-10pm
The pop-up at Tsutaya Bukit Jalil features merchandise such as comics, illustrations, and other collectibles from Delicious in Dungeon and Lawak Kampus. On 11 July, there’s an autograph session with Kadokawa Gempak Starz cartoonist Keith from 2pm to 3pm. The first 25 fans in the autograph queue get a mystery lucky bag.

Architect and artist Cheng Peng Sia is passionate about heritage buildings, especially Kwai Chai Hong. For him, every sketch begins with a place, a story, and a memory. The Walking Through Kuala Lumpur exhibition showcases his beautiful artworks, all of it capturing the light, atmosphere, the people, and memories that make the city feel like home. If you would like to hear more stories about the city and the sketches, drop by the cafe and the staff will be happy to share.
Comedy Night Live Vol 2 | 10 July | KL Comedy Corner | 8.30pm onwards | Ticketed event
Comedy Night Live Vol 2 is back with a chaotic lineup of comedians ready to make everyone’s Friday night a little more unhinged. Hosted by Danial Sham, the show also features Elgin, Jan Yuen, Shaq, Bal, and Suria taking the stage. Tickets are available at CloudJoi here.

Sport Stacking is a thrilling, high-speed sport demanding lightning-fast reflexes and laser focus. At this championship, guests get to cheer from the sidelines or try it for the first time.

The iconic Japanese cultural festival returns and this time it’s held at Sunway Pyramid’s open car park. Guests can enjoy dance and drum performances, rent a yukata for photos, browse the market, and watch the fireworks light up the evening sky.
Craft & Yap | 12 July | GMBB | 3pm-5pm | Free public event
Craft & Yap is an opportunity for you to mingle with other creative souls and accomplish your projects together. Participants can bring their own crafts and create side by side with the others.
