The first April weekend is starting with a bang! Think creative workshops, buzzing themed markets, and a groovy daytime session fuelled by coffee and matcha. Your social calendar is taken care of, just like that.🫰
Pesona Raya | 3-5 April | Central Market | 10am-10pm | Free public event
The festive vibe continues at Pesona Raya at Central Market. Weave through stalls at the Atrium, Artlane, the Bridge, and Jalan Benteng, where stylish clothing, refreshing drinks, and so much more await. Also, show some love for local talent! Ameer Fahim and Bulan Band will be taking the stage to treat the crowd to a memorable live performance. There’ll be traditional performances like the dikir barat and joget raya as well.
ACG Mart | 3-5 April | ACG Base, Lalaport | 10am-10pm | Free public event
Check out an incredible lineup of artist booths and unique doujin creations at Lalaport this weekend. Guests can find items such as cute keychains, jewellery, knitted plushies, t-shirts, and more. Have fun at the Free Play Retro Games area, and if you join the Stamp & Win activity, you stand a chance to win an ACG Base RM5 cash voucher.
Springtime Wonders | 3-5 April | Bangsar Village | 10am-10pm | Free public event
Bangsar Village’s Springtime Wonders is packed with fun activities hosted by its participating tenants. There’ll be various workshops where you can make your own cotton candy, paint beautiful works, or decorate a small pot of succulents. If you’re hungry, there are delicious hot cross buns for sale.

Who says the party has to wait until sundown? Sober Room is a morning party for coffee and matcha lovers brought to the masses by Coffeeboy Records and MP3 Social (Matcha Party in Third Spaces). Inspired by Melbourne’s daytime social experience, expect underground beats and global grooves that’ll have you dancing before noon.

This week, the book club will be discussing Kazuo Ishiguro’s Remains of the Day. What’s The Plan is a small and intimate book club for women to get together and discuss books.
