Don’t just race for the finish — race for the ultimate reward.
One lucky participant at the Skechers Friendship Walk & Run Malaysia 2026 walks away with a year’s supply of Skechers shoes, and the only way in is to show up.
Now in its ninth edition, the Skechers Friendship Walk & Run returns to Putrajaya on 21 June 2026 — and this year, it’s bigger in every sense.
For the first time in the event’s history, a 21KM half-marathon category joins the lineup, sitting alongside the familiar 5KM leisure walk and 10KM competitive run.
Whether you’re here for a relaxed morning out or a genuine podium push, there’s a distance with your name on it.
The Podium Pays — And So Does Showing Up
The competitive categories aren’t just for bragging rights either.
Top finishers in both the 10KM and 21KM runs — across Men’s and Women’s Open and Veteran categories — are racing for real money: RM1,000 cash plus a RM1,000 Skechers voucher for the champion, with RM800 and RM600 cash prizes for first and second runners-up respectively, each also paired with a RM1,000 voucher.
Cash prizes are open only to Malaysian citizens and permanent residents.
Every registered participant receives a race pack worth up to RM359 — event tee, foldable tote bag, race bib, e-certificate, a 30% discount voucher on regular-priced Skechers shoes, light refreshments, and personal accident insurance.
Finish the 21 km, and a finisher tee awaits you, too.
Early-bird registration opens on Sunday (5 April), with entry fees starting at RM40 for kids and RM55 for adults for the 5KM walk, RM65 for the 10KM run, and RM95 for the new 21KM category.
Slots are limited and expected to move fast.
