Flying with pets on commercial airlines can be a stress-inducing task for pet parents. Fortunately, SingaPaw Air takes most of those worries away.
Touted as Asia’s first pet-friendly private jet charter service, SingaPaw Air takes care of everything ranging from flight coordination to pet documentation. This includes permits, export/import requirements, and other important travel paperwork that’s needed.
SingaPaw Air is run by TheAsianPawrent in partnership with Air7Asia, Vista Jet, and other aircraft charter partners.
How does this pet-friendly airline service work?
SingaPaw Air takes off from Seletar Airport in Singapore and flies to several countries. The flight destinations covered include:
- Kuala Lumpur
- Bangkok
- Melbourne
- Indonesia
- Ho Chi Minh
- Shanghai
- Taipei
- Hong Kong
- Tokyo
- San Francisco
- Dubai
- Europe
The charter service welcomes a wide range of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and more. Pets are allowed to sit next to their fur parent with no crate or weight restrictions.
The family goes through private boarding from Seletar Business Airport. On board, pets get to enjoy customised menus, tended to by trained crew members, and play with premium toys.
There are also fun activities planned to keep the furkids occupied and entertained. Safe to say, pets will feel super pampered and the whole group gets to travel stress-free.
Due to its luxury service, the fees are high and can range from roughly RM22,486 (USD5,500) to RM343,429 (USD84,000) depending on the destination.
Some packages assist with ground transfers and pet-friendly hotel arrangements as well.
Why is pet-friendly travel increasingly important?
The latest statistics show that there’s a rise in pet-friendly travel experiences which led to the increasing number of pet-friendly hotels, travel services, and facilities.
According to Brittany Ferries, a passenger and freight ferry service operator in the UK, 53% of travellers will take their pets on holidays with them. Additionally, nearly 52% of surveyed pet parents said they would stay only at pet-friendly accommodations when they travel.
SingaPaw Air helps bridge the gap in the local pet-friendly travel market, helping pet parents enjoy holidays with their beloved furkids.
