Runners Embrace Eco-Friendliness: Performance Meets Sustainability

Instead of medals, finishers received potted plants as a symbol of growth and environmental consciousness.

This unique approach reduced waste and served as a reminder of the event’s green mission.

HOPE Worldwide Malaysia chairman Cheong Hom Tai told TRP that the event promoted a more sustainable approach to sportswear by encouraging participants to re-wear their running shirts and say no to fast fashion.

Runners embraced the concept, proudly sporting their well-loved shirts and showing that performance and style can go hand in hand with eco-friendliness.
