So recently, the TRP troops took part in adidas’ Move For The Planet campaign—a global initiative that encourages people of all shapes and sizes to be active for a terrific cause: combating climate change!
The idea behind the campaign is simple enough: the more you get yourself moving by doing a range of sporting and physical activities, the more adidas will donate money to support programs to help save the planet.
For every 10 minutes of activity that participants logged on the official adidas Running app, the sporting and lifestyle brand will donate €1 (or around RM5) to Common Goal—a non-profit organisation that supports sustainability projects in communities that are most affected by the climate crisis.
The contributions raised by the campaign will support projects in countries like Colombia, Greece, South Africa and Pakistan and involves efforts such as renewing a community’s sports pitch using recycled materials or teaching locals how to reduce plastic waste in sports facilities.

Here in Malaysia, adidas’ campaign had a lil’ something in store for everyone: from spin classes to running sessions together with professional trainers, athletes and adiClub members.

Participants also had the opportunity to get their hands on exclusive adidas merchandise and the chance to enjoy free staycations, as well as, fitness and wellness sessions.
But we decided on having a tee-rrific time attending the indoor golf session that was hosted at the MST Golf Arena at The Gardens Mall, Kuala Lumpur.
I like big putts and I cannot lie

The hour-long session gave us a crash course on how to golf like a pro!
After logging into the adidas Running app to record our activity, we were split up into groups of four and given the chance to swing away on a state-of-the-art virtual golf course that felt very much like playing a video game.
And with first-hand instructions from MST’s golfing experts, we learned how to navigate the rather exciting world of golf.
Although the sport looks easy, trust us when we say that it was super challenging to get the ball where you wanted it to go. But our instructor did give us amateurs advice that helped us enjoy the par-tee!
Just hit the ball!
MST coach.
And by the end of the day, we got ourselves a good workout and know that we’ve spent our time and energy helping raised around €6 each, to donate to the cause.
