Apparently, his child made the switch to Fahrenheit and they didn’t know how to switch it back to Celcius.

If you suddenly find your air conditioner’s remote control displaying the temperature in Fahrenheit, all you have to do is press the up and down buttons at the same time. This will immediately switch the display to Celcius.
