Ongoing Events

1. Euro Fun Park (Fun Fair) @ Dataran Open Carpark, 1 Utama (31 March – 28 May, 7 pm – 12 am)

Step right up and experience the thrill of Malaysia’s largest travelling amusement park – the much-anticipated Euro Fun Park is arriving at 1 Utama! From 31 March to 28 May 2023, this travelling fun fair will keep you entertained all night long from 7 pm to 12 am daily with endless rides and games. So, mark your calendars as this is an event you definitely don’t want to miss!

Tickets are priced at RM8 for adults and RM4 for kids, which you can get at the counter there. Visit their website for more info.

2. Dreams We Tell Ourselves (Solo Theatre Performance) @ M Gallery, Bandar Sunway (5 – 8 April, 8.30 pm)

In the haunting silhouette of abandoned dreams and the ashen field of grief, we yearn so badly for a situation where we don’t have to reach out across the gap.

Presented by Howls Theatre Co. in collaboration with M Gallery, Dreams We Tell Ourselves is a 60-minute solo performance written by Olivier Kipp and Murasaki Haru. Directed & performed by Wyman Wai, the play navigates the possibilities of embracing a place of uncertainty or remaining nestled in familiarity.

3. The World Of Tim Burton (Exhibition) @ Pavilion Bukit Jalil (21 March – 30 July, 10 am – 10 pm)

For the first time in Southeast Asia and the last stop in Asia – The long-awaited ‘The World of Tim Burton’ Pop-Up Museum is finally here at Pavilion Bukit Jalil! 

Featuring numerous talented works from Tim Burton’s early stages of sketches and drawings to the talented artist’s most recent projects of puppets and life-sized sculptures used in his film work, you’ll be sure to step into an incredible experience like no other!

Tickets are priced at RM88 per pax but they have discounts for kids, seniors, students and OKUs. For more details, visit here.

4. One Piece Asia Tour Exhibition @ Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, Resorts World Genting (23 March – 8 May, 10 am – 10 pm)

For 47 days, the biggest, largest and first-ever One Piece Exhibition in Southeast Asia is happening here in Malaysia.

Fans will get to enjoy an incredible 45 to 90 minutes tour around the 21 Iconic Zones which will showcase the series’ iconic scenes from Luffy’s adventure from the series in a 25,000 square feet layout. Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

5. Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Total Concentration Exhibition @ Pavilion Bukit Jalil (18 Feb – 18 May, 10 am – 10 pm)

Demon Slayer is a well-known Anime and has a massive fan following in Malaysia. This exhibition is a definite treat to fans as it brings you into the world of anime as soon as you enter the exhibition.

Step into an experience like no other, immerse yourself in some of the memorable scenes and become part of a Demon Slayer Corps at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Level 2, Pink Zone.

6. Van Gogh Alive Exhibition @ Pavillion Bukit Jalil (17 Dec – 9 April, 10 am – 10 pm)

Great news guys, the Van Gogh Exhibition is extended until 9 April 2023!

Witness Van Gogh’s legendary works of art displayed digitally at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Get ready for a multi-sensory experience with a symphony of light, colour, sound and fragrance for you there.

7. Arts On The Move (Art Installation + Performances) @ MRT Pasar Seni (Feb – June, 5 pm – 6 pm)

Next time you change your trains at Pasar Seni, drop by their MRT station to witness this new art installation called “Sunnyside Up” by the talented Pamela Tan of Poh Sin Studio. For the next three months, this yellow futuristic installation hopes to reimagine everyday pedestrian routes and transform them into a unique and enjoyable experience for all.

Additionally, every fortnight on Thursday from 5 pm – 6 pm, visit the station for various live performances, exciting workshops and creative art installations.

8. Masters of Disguise (Photography Exhibition) @ Darkroom Gallery, GMBB (Extended till 30 April 2023, 11 am – 6 pm)

Biologist, guide and wildlife photographer Chien C. Lee’s latest photography exhibit focuses on the art of deception used by wildlife. This exhibit features more than 60 fantastic photos of various kinds of camouflage and mimicry employed by insects, reptiles, birds, and even plants; with many species hailing from Malaysia’s very own Sabah and Sarawak.

According to GMBB, this exhibition is just so mesmerizing and immersive that it’s extended until 30 April 2023.

Here are specific events to enjoy with your family and friends on FridaySaturday, and Sunday.

7 April (Friday)

1. Just Jokes: Against Humanity (Comedy Show) @ Angguk Studio, PJ (8.30 pm)

In this themed comedy show, the theme is based on the popular game “Cards Against Humanity”, where the audience picks a prompt and the comedians have to improvise on the spot. Be prepared for spontaneous and possibly tear-jerking performances that will leave you in stitches.

Featuring some of the funniest comedians in the scene, Kavin Jay, Shamaine Othman, Harresh A.U. & Mahyar, this show promises to deliver stand-up comedy and an improv section that will have you rolling in the aisles.

2. Festival Usahawan Gempak (Raya Bazaar) @ Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam (7 – 9 April, 10 am – 2 am)

With more than 200 vendors waiting for you, head on to Stadium Malawati to shop for your Raya essentials from branded clothes to various accessories. Witness epic performances from your favourite local artists and influencers such as Siti Nurhaliza, Lah Ahmad, Ruhainies, and many more while munching on a plethora of food choices from the food trucks.

You wanna know what the best thing about this event is? The entrance is free.

3. Pasar Seloka: Pesta Gembira (Weekend Market) @ Central Market ( 7 – 9 April, 10 am – 8 pm)

Pasar Seloka is a lifestyle pop-up weekend bazaar. This week, the theme is Raya and it’s happening at Pasar Seni.

Shop for cute Raya outfits, gorgeous accessories, and more here. You can also get your hands on various collections of Raya outfits from modern to traditional.

4. Pesta Raya 2023 (Weekend Market) @ Malaysia Grand Bazaar, BBCC, KL (31 March – 19 April, 10 am – 10 pm)

This Raya, Lokal Wave is bringing more excitement, more vendors and more days to shop! Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, they will be at Malaysia Grand Bazaar (beside Lalaport), selling Raya clothes, Raya cookies, accessories and more.

They also have celebrity lineups, performers, traditional sounds, activities, Raya lucky draw and so much more to be announced. Besides that, they also have a baking competition next two weeks, so stay tuned for that!

8 & 9 April (Saturday & Sunday)

1. Ritma Raya: Riuh x Lazada (Raya Bazaar) @ Sentul Depot (8 & 9 April, 3 pm – 12 am)

Make your way over to Sentul Depot and join in the spirit of giving while you shop at Ritma Raya! 

Go get your squad ready and save the date to get your baju raya sorted with more than 90 local creative brands. Break your fast with your family and friends while enjoying festive live performances. You can also learn something new at the creative workshops & showcases there.

2. Corak Hati Raya Week 2 (Weekend Market) @ Rumah Tangsi (8 – 9 April, 12 pm – 9 pm)

Wanna shop for arts and crafts items with a Raya theme? Spend your weekend here at Rumah Tangsi for their Corak Hati Raya weekend market. Organized by The Messy Club, browse Raya clothes, cookies, arts & crafts, cosmetics, accessories, and more there while listening to live music.

3. Bakers Galore Meriah Raya (Weekend Market) @ 1st Floor, MyTown KL (8 & 9 April, 10 am – 10 pm)

Come join Bakers Galore this Ramadan as they bring in a special Raya edition at MyTown KL. Bakers Galore is an amazing event to get all your Raya artisanal bakes from cakes to bread, festive cookies, pastries, local delights and more. Look out for all things dessert, sweet or savoury, they have it all!

4. Wayang Kulit Puppet- Making Workshop @ Temi 1, GMBB, (9 April, 12 pm – 5 pm)

Wanna learn how to make a Wayang Kulit puppet?

Join GMBB in learning more about the traditional form of shadow puppetry that has captivated audiences for centuries. In this workshop, you’ll have the rare opportunity to learn the intricate art of creating your own Malaysian Wayang Kulit shadow puppet!

Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this workshop is open to all skill levels.

5. Raya More Together (Raya Bazaar) @ GMBB (8-9 April, 12 pm – 10 pm)

Raya is just around the corner and we’re excited to invite you to our Raya More Together bazaar happening every weekend starting TODAY until 16 April from 12 pm – 10 pm at The Grey Box, GMBB!

Come and join them for a fun-filled Raya celebration with your loved ones, buka puasa with delicious food, and shop for your Raya must-haves at GMBB’s Raya bazaar. That’s not all, we also have live music performances from 6 pm – 10 pm to keep the good times rolling!

6. Art Jamming with Dennis Liew (Autism Awareness Exhibition) @ GMBB ( 9 April, 11 am – 6 pm)

Join differently-abled artist Dennis Liew, a gifted painter who expresses himself through nature, in this art jamming session. Dennis has an incredible talent for painting, and his works are often showcased in his solo exhibitions.
