CNY is a celebratory occasion for both the young and old to commemorate joyous moments together. All of this is done in the spirit of inclusivity – a value that the iconic cognac brand Hennessy has upheld and demonstrated throughout its illustrious 250-year history.

This CNY, Hennessy has prepared a variety of felicitous curations to welcome the Year of the Rabbit – introducing new ways of celebrating the promise to unite and connect loved ones in all diversity.

In line with Hennessy’s principles of unity and inclusivity, the renowned Maison has teamed up with France-based Chinese painter Yan Pei-Ming to create something absolutely exceptional.

Three iconic Hennessy bottles, V.S.O.P, X.O, and Paradis, are given a golden expressionistic makeover by the artist, who is renowned for his large-scale brushstrokes. Each bottle is vividly coloured red and gold, with the intrepid rabbit prominently featured on them to reflect the prosperous and auspicious themes of CNY.

The artist also created a painting titled La Grande Course, which showcases all 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac as a symbol of inclusiveness and hope. The monumental composition speaks of togetherness across generations and differences, and that culture is what connects us all. The animals’ spirited race toward new horizons conveys a singular truth: “Together, We Go Further.”

The 12 Chinese zodiac animals are significant in the Lunar calendar and are also influential in the CNY canapés curated by Hennessy in collaboration with selected restaurants across Malaysia, including Yen at W Kuala Lumpur, Mezza 9, and Shang Palace in Shangri-La Hotel KL.

You too can have a taste of exquisite canapés and Omakase dining – at Hennessy’s Lunar Wonderland Festival!
