Chinese New Year is a festival that welcomes new beginnings, joy, and prosperity. Traditionally, CNY is a time to honour deities and ancestors, but it’s also a time to feast and visit our loved ones.
The spirit of ‘togetherness’ is what CNY is all about. Unfortunately, for the past few years, the pandemic has robbed us of the opportunity to celebrate the new year with our family and friends. CNY just hasn’t been the same without all our loved ones tossing yee sang together 🙁
But this year is different! With lockdowns and border closures being a thing of the past, this means we are able to celebrate CNY with all our loved ones again.
Usher in the new year with Paradigm Mall PJ
This Year of the Rabbit, Paradigm Mall PJ, managed by WCT Malls, celebrates CNY with the theme “Do It 过好年” in collaboration with 988 Chinese Radio Station.
There are unique decorations at each WCT Mall you go to! Paradigm Mall PJ displays a ‘Reunion’ atmosphere, featuring a Chinese round table dining set in a village adorned with peony flowers, rivers, and gardens.
The “Do It 过好年” theme which will run from 1 January to 5 February 2023 features the rabbit Q-Zai mascot, meet and greets with 988 DJs, oriental performances, acrobatic lion dance, Chinese New Year festive booths and bazaar, and many more!
