Proudly sponsored by Yes 5G, the Poetic Spring Garden is filled with oversized blossoms and foliage as well as traditional Chinese calligraphy in a bold and non-conventional way.

Cryptic Calligraphy & Insta-worthy Spots

The lane is filled with three installations.

Inspired by this year’s year of the water rabbit, the first area called ‘Wet Hot Spring Thing’ has the walls of the lane filled with cryptic messages for visitors to decipher.

The installation is done by the masterful Jaemy C, famous for his work reimagining Chinese calligraphy in his artwork and exotic visuals.

The installation is uniquely ours, striking, bold and unabashedly quirky. It also speaks to the masses who differ in culture and language, but share a common appreciation for the Chinese art form and its festive symbolisms.

The second installation is an area filled with big red swings painted with Chinese calligraphy hung on sturdy bamboo structures. You can even sit on them!

The last one features artificial flowers, arranged strategically around the lane for you to get that perfect ‘surrounded by blooms’ OOTD shot.

Our astounding installation tells the story of tradition and heritage, and that traditional things like the Chinese Calligraphy installation, are not old-fashioned. We can embrace modernity without forsaking tradition, through a common ground connecting the past and the future. It has always been in Kwai Chai Hong’s DNA.
