Fun Events In The Klang Valley This Weekend From 15 Dec To 18 Dec

15 December (Thursday)

1. Great British Circus (Circus) @ Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity (19 Nov – 1 Jan, 5.30 pm & 8.30 pm)

If you’re into circus shows (humans, not animals), you should try and have a look at the Great British Circus show. They’ve been touring places in Malaysia and this Christmas time, they’re putting on shows at Desa ParkCity.

2. iNyala (Digital Art Exhibition) @ Fahrenheit88 (8 Dec – 25 Dec)

Immerse yourself in a digital art exhibition which features 17 multidisciplinary art installations centred on the theme of “17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.

16 December (Friday)

1. Rock’N Riuh @ Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort (16 – 18 December, 12 pm – 12 am)

Enjoy awesome performances from local artists, creative workshops, delicious street food and local fashion/accessories vendors.

The lineup includes Datuk M. Nasir, Datuk Ramli Sarip, Ella, Aizat Amdan, Insomniacs, I Am Neeta, Yonnyboii and many more!

Entrance is free so let’s head on to Bukit Kiara this weekend!

2. Rentak Bumi 2.0 Dance Show @ Panggung Bandaraya DBKL (16 -18 Dec, 8.30 pm)

This dance show features three dance companies that will be performing three types of multicultural performances.

3. Evita (Theatre) @ KLPAC ( 16 – 18 December, 3 pm & 8 pm)

Evita is a musical based on the life of Eva Peron, an Argentinian actress who eventually became the wife of the Argentinian president Juan Domingo Perón, and the most beloved (and also hated) woman in Argentina. Madonna once played Evita in a 1996 film FYI.

4. Five Elements – A Handicraft Fair @ GMBB (16 Dec 2022 – 3 Jan 2023, 11 am – 8 pm)

This fair celebrates the art of handicraft and the five elements, earth, fire, metal, water and wood. There will be multiple exhibitions, clay workshops, tattoo workshops and more.

17 December (Saturday)

1. Beach Pool Club Xmas Splash Party @ Discovery Park, Gamuda Cove (11 am till late, Every Sat)

Enjoy street Latin dances such as salsa, mambo and rumba, rhythm-thumping beats from DJs, a famous 90’s throwback dance show and fire-eater performances at the Discovery Park’s Beach Pool Club every Saturday this December.

2. Let It Snow @ Gamuda Cove (5 pm – 9.30 pm)

Apart from food trucks and bazaars, there will be a magic show, a Christmas live band, an international circus performance, a hot air balloon ride and many more activities at Gamuda Cove’s Let It Snow Christmas Celebration.

3. Hep Ka-Wot Enggang Le-Wei (Photography Exhibition) @ GMBB (17 & 18 December, 11 am – 6 pm)

This exhibition of forests, hornbills and honey highlights how the Orang Asli of Jahai and Temiar from the Belum-Temenggor Forests in Perak protect the hornbills for their roles as farmers of the forest.

Apart from talks and photographs of nature, you can also buy Orang Asli arts and crafts there.

4. Bad Habits x Emo Night Kl Prom Night @ RexKL (8 pm till late)

Sing and dance your night away to punk rock music this Saturday at RexKL. Listen to their curated playlist ‘Bad Habits x Emo Night KL: ALL KILLER NO FILLER’ on Spotify now, before you go.

5. Gig Tanpa Nama (Concert) @ Angkasa Space ( 11 am – 11.30 pm)

In conjunction with Kopi Tanpa Nama’s launching, they’re collaborating with @sirapais and @projeksuka to bring 15 bands to you this Saturday.

They’ll entertain you with cover songs from artists such as Tan Sri P. Ramlee, System Of A Down, Paramore, Foo Fighters, 30 Seconds To Mars and many more.

6. Rexmas Market (Christmas Bazaar) @ RexKL (17 & 18 Dec, 11 am – 11 pm)

Head onto RexKL for some festive entertainment and street food this weekend. There will be a Christmas Bazaar, a Night Market and also an Open Mic session.

7. The Weekend Japanese Film Show (Film Screening) @ GSC NU Sentral (12 pm)

For those who love Japanese films, watch a free Japanese film called We Are Little Zombies organised by The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) at NU Sentral’s GSC. The tickets are free but prior booking is required.

8. Rajhesh Vaidhya Feel The Strings (Concert) @ World Trade Centre KL (7 pm)

For those who love music from Indian classical instruments, you wouldn’t wanna miss this concert from India’s famous veena player, Rajhesh Vaidhya. You will be treated to a fusion of classic and modern tunes in this concert at the World Trade Center KL this Saturday.

9. Van Gogh Alive Exhibition @ Pavillion Bukit Jalil (17 Dec – 16 March, 10 am – 10 pm)

Witness Van Gogh’s legendary work of art displayed digitally at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Get ready for a multi-sensory experience with a symphony of light, colour, sound and fragrance for you there.

18 December (Sunday)

1. Shah Alam Hari Tanpa Kenderaan () @ Elmina Central Park (7.30 pm – 10.30 pm)

This event is perfect for outdoor and sports lovers. There will be a Fun Run, Run Walk, activities using roller blades & skateboards and many more exciting activities, perfect for a family day out.

2. Holy Chic Fashion + Food Market @ Concubine KL (11 am – 6 pm)
