All The Fun Events Happening In Klang Valley This Weekend From 8 Dec To 11 Dec

8 December (Thursday)

1. Malaysia Thailand Halal Food Festival (Fair) @ Giant Hypermarket Bandar Kinrara, Puchong (2 Dec – 11 Dec, 11 am – 12 am)

At the Malaysia Thailand Halal Food Festival (MATHAF), you’ll find various Thai cuisine that you’ve been craving. Fried baby crabs, mango sticky rice, Thai teas, LokChing, Thai laksa, coconut sticky rice ice cream and many more!

2. Antara Tiga Theatre (Theatre) @ Panggung Sari Istana Budaya (8 Dec – 10 Dec)

If you’re into the local theatre scene, you might wanna check the public Service Department’s (JPA) theatre production called Antara Tiga. It tells the story of the struggles of Klang settlers in the year 1961 by reminiscing to three main historic events in Klang in the year 1025, 1445 and 1867.

3. Great British Circus (Circus) @ Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity (19 Nov – 1 Jan, 5.30 pm & 8.30 pm)

If you’re into circus shows (humans, not animals), you should try and have a look at the Great British Circus show. They’ve been touring places in Malaysia and this Christmas time, they’re putting on shows at Desa ParkCity.

4. iNyala (Digital Art Exhibition) @ Fahrenheit88 (8 Dec – 25 Dec)

Immerse yourself in a digital art exhibition which features 17 multidisciplinary art installations centred on the theme of “17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.

5. Viva Batik (Fair) @ Central Market (29 Nov – 11 Dec)

Apart from seeing a Batik-themed Christmas tree, you can get all things Batik at Central Market – ready-to-wear outfits, accessories, crafts and more.

9 December (Friday)

1. Anigames Con 2022 (Convention) @ GMBB, KL (9 Dec – 11 Dec, 11 am – 9 pm)

From tabletop games and strategy card games to role-playing games (RPG) and murder mystery games, there are more than 50 booths and a lot of fun activities awaiting you at the Anigames Con this weekend.

2. Marcell Dua Dekade (Concert) @ Zepp KL (8.30 pm)

Catch the Indonesian singer, Marcell Siahaan live in Kuala Lumpur for his 20th anniversary in the art industry.

3. A Gift Of Time (Market) @ Aurumn Theater, Gardens Mall (9 Dec – 11 Dec, 10 am – 10 pm)

4. Speed Eating Contest @ Chu By Fifty Tales, RexKL (9 Dec – 10 Dec, 12 pm – 4 pm & 6 pm – 10.30 pm)

Celebrating their 1 year anniversary, Chu By Fiftytales, a Malaysian Chinese Noodle Bar is having a speed eating contest! Go and challenge yourself and who knows, you might get a free meal or discounts.

10 December (Saturday)

1. TuckTau Ska Reggae Party (Concert) @ Panggung Asia, Gombak (12 pm – 12 am)

For fans of ska reggae music, this event is for you. Practice those skanking and pogo dance skills for the 4th edition of TuckTau Ska Reggae Party which will feature 16 amazing bands.

2. Kabut In The Park 9.2 (Fair) @ KLPAC, Sentul Park (9 am – 2 pm)

With more than 45 KonMari vendors, you can enjoy this Christmas-themed yard sale at KLPAC. From thrift clothes to useable home items, browse for second-hand items for cheap.

They also have food and drinks available but bring your own containers, cups and cutleries for all the tapau-ing.

3. The Godown Artist Market (Exhibition) @ The Godown (10 Dec – 11 Dec, 3 pm – 10 pm)

Here at The Godown Artist Market, you can get your hands on artsy Christmas gifts for your loved ones. There will also be art workshops and talks, music and dance performances, food vendors and many more.
