‘Bakul’ Full Of Blessings: Spreading Happiness Through Charity

This past Ramadan, HappyFresh teamed with celebrity chef and TV host Sherson Lian to provide warm meals and necessities such as food supplies and toiletries to the B40 communities in Tasik Permaisuri and Hulu Selangor.
The members of these communities were also affected by the aftermath of the recent floods.
In line with the Ramadan spirit of giving back and remembering those who are less fortunate, HappyFresh and Sherson collaborated with charity group Cahaya Ampang to supply goods worth over RM30,000 to distribute to these communities.
With the RM30,000 provided by HappyFresh, Sherson also whipped out a feast of rendang, ketupat and other delicacies for the residents of Rumah Panjang Ikan Emas, Tasik Permaisuri to Buka Puasa.
This selfless endeavour goes a long way to ensure that these communities also get to share in the joy of this festive season. It truly warms our hearts to see people coming together and helping those in need.
