15 Gorgeous Parks In Putrajaya And Cyberjaya You Should Visit For Exercise Or Just OOTDs

1. Taman Saujana Hijau, Presint 11, Putrajaya

This park is one of the most beautiful ones in Putrajaya. English, Oriental and European themed, this 117 acres of land is divided into three hills (sections) called the British Bustan, Bustan Oriental and European Bustan.

Surrounded by rolling hills, pine trees, wooden fencing and exotic flowers, this garden’s landscape is very breathtaking and usually a spot for recreation, picnics, gorgeous OOTDs and even wedding photoshoots. There’s a 2.8 km jogging track in the park and plenty of hilly pathways for you to explore so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

According to Cyberjaya Info, there’s a landscape renovation going at this place so, do check before you go here.

2. Taman Botani Presint 1, Putrajaya

With a nickname of Mother of All Gardens, this is garden is even given the title as one of Asia’s Most Amazing Garden by the Royal Chelsea Foundation, London at the World Premiere Royal Chelsea Flower Show in 2008.

With 230 acres of land, this park has 13 different sections showcasing more than 750 species of plants from different continents of the world. This is also the place where you can take OOTDs with a Moroccan vibe as this park is home to the Moroccan Islamic Pavillion Garden (Astaka Morocco).

3. Taman Wawasan, Presint 2, Putrajaya

This park located in Precinct 2 has a total area of 132 acres. This place is great for recreation, treasure hunts, and also receptions. The area is known for its Pebble Beach, Aqua Plaza, Review Platform and Amphiteater Tapiori Area.

4. Taman Putra Perdana, Presint 1, Putrajaya

This 158 acres of land is an iconic symbol for Putrajaya because this is the starting point where Prang Besar, a small oil palm plantation area was transformed into our Fedreal Government Administrative Centre in 1995.

A few attractions there are the Time Capsul where important and historic documents are kept near the Putrajaya Landmark and the Megalith Area where stones probably from Neolitic, Mesolitic and Bronze Age are showcased here.

5. Taman Wetland, Presint 13, Putrajaya

This 335 acres of wetland is Malaysia’s largest constructed freshwater wetlands in the tropics. They act as the ecological kidneys of Putrajaya, naturally filtratring sediments, nutrients and contaminants from the two rivers that flow into the Putrajaya Lake which are Sungai Chua and Sungai Bisa.

This place is open for various nature activities like fishing, cycling, kayaking, canoeing, camping and more. There’s even a new spot for glamping called GLOW.

6. Taman Seri Empangan, Presint 5, Putrajaya

This is a popular spot for cycling and jogging beside the lakeside with a route from Taman Seri Empangan to Grand Stand. The public can exercise while enjoying the magnificent view that this spot has to offer.

7. Taman Ekuestrian Putrajaya, Presint 5

This place is open for the public for recreational purposes like jogging and cycling. However, access to places like the horse stables and polo field is restricted. Other activities like horseback riding, soccer, rugby, frisbee and more are also available but comes with an additional charge.

8. Taman Warisan Pertanian, Presint 16, Putrajaya

This Agricultural Heritage Park a place for agro education to the public highlighting the development of Malaysia’s agricultural industry over the years.

This 35 acre park houses fruit orchards, 9 acre rubber plantation, herbs and spices garden, freshwater fish farming and more. There’s also an agrobazaar every weekend at the end of the month called Putrajaya Agro Warisan.

9. China-Malaysia Friendship Garden, Presint 4, Putrajaya

This is a Lignan-styled (originates from Guandong and nearby provinces of China) garden that signifies the diplomatic peace between China and Malaysia and is located at Anjung Floria (annual Floria Putrajaya venue), Precinct 4, Putrajaya.

This garden has beautiful architectures and landscape for you to admire and take OOTDs with.

10. Taman Rimba Alam, Presint 15, Putrajaya

This 400 acre place is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and also camping. This park houses various tropical rain forest trees for you to see like the Cengal, Meranti Merah and rare Malaysian tropical fruits like Machang, Rukam Tampoi and more.

11. Taman Cabaran, Presint 5, Putrajaya

This place is called the Putrajaya Challenge park for a reason. They have various challenging activities offered there like wall climbing, skatepark for sliding sports, extreme bike route for mountainbikers and more.

12. Taman Tasik Cyberjaya

This is a place for the people of Cyberjaya to do their recreational activities every weekend. With beautiful landscapes, this place is great for picnics, jogging and just chilling with your besties.

Currently, MP Sepang is doing some upgrading activities around the area so do take note.

13. Taman Mini Cyberjaya

14. Cyberjaya Lakeside

15. Taman Awam Cyber 3, Cyberjaya

This park is located in the Garden Residences area near Precinct 11, Putrajaya. This is also a good spot for jogging and hiking while enjoying pretty views around it.
