You may have seen a pink-and-white panda character peeking out at you on billboards or advertisements online, but did you know what it is for?
It’s actually foodpanda’s newest (and cutest!) brand ambassador, Pau-Pau!
Although foodpanda has always used a panda face as its logo, they have now unveiled a whole mascot in celebration of their 10 year anniversary.
A fuzzy pink champion
According to a foodpanda press release, Pau-Pau is designed to be fun-loving and free-spirited first-of-its-kind ambassador, championing empowerment and sustainability across the region.
In creating Pau-Pau, we wanted him to also have a dimension of purpose — that he stands for something more than just being an adorable mascot.

Pau-Pau’s 3 passions are empowerment and living life on one’s own terms; the environment, as foodpanda’s sustainability champion; and enthusiasm, for food and fun.
This ties in with foodpanda’s services, which enables customers by freeing up their time to get food or groceries, 24/7.
Foodpanda also has implemented the default cutlery opt-out feature, which has saved 544 million pieces of single-use plastic in 2021 alone. Additionally, since August 2021, their Global Sustainable Packaging Programme to encourage merchants to switch to plastic-free, plant-based packaging.
Pau-Pau will be spear-heading these foodpanda core initiatives everywhere, so keep an eye out of the fuzzy pink mascot headed your way across all platforms, including the LINE messenger app and Instagram as cute emojis and stickers.
