Most of us make a day trip to Genting Highlands just to enjoy the cool air and get that ‘holidaying abroad’ feeling.

The thing is the Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is opening in December 2021 and if you want to avoid the theme park crowd, the best time to stay over the weekend in Genting is now.

To help you out, a Twitter user Nad shared a few hotels with rooms costing below RM500 per night.

Scapes Hotel

Scapes Hotel is a fun and quirky hotel perfect for families and a group of friends. It only costs RM242 per night and it’s near facilities such as a golf course, Genting Premium Outlet to do all your shopping and the cable car service.

Swiss Garden Hotel & Residences

The rooms in Swiss Garden costs RM367 per night. If you’re bored with the usual attractions in Genting, you can sign up for cooking classes here and cook up a storm once you get home.

Other than that, you can hang out in the games room, enjoy the Jacuzzi and swim in the rooftop pool. Families with younger children will love the playground on-site too.

Geo Resort & Hotel

This hotel looks grand and expensive so it’ll be a good choice for those who want to treat themselves but not too much. The comfortable rooms cost RM369 per night and you can even enjoy an Afternoon Tea high up in the mountains in one of their cafes.

Grand Ion Delemen Hotel

If you love the freezing cold temperature of Genting, staying in Grand Ion Delemen Hotel is your best bet. However, you’ll have to fork out RM452 per night.

You won’t be bored with the number of activities available to do there such as flying fox, obstacle course and rock climbing. Time to get up bright and early, and design your personal kem bina semangat!

Geo38 Residence

Geo38 Residence is a serviced apartment and the rooms here cost RM464 per night. It’s said that you can see the peak of the mountain from the hotel. You can also go stargazing if the skies are clear at night. You can enjoy a cool swim, practice yoga or meet your fitness goals at the gym here.

Better hurry and book your rooms before the prices go up!
