M’sian Philharmonic Orchestra Performs Star Wars Intro For Covid-19 Frontliners In Online Video Call

Right after we were all extremely impressed by Orkestra RTM’s online video call performance of Bahtera Merdeka, we Malaysians got another musical treat.
This time from the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO), who also dedicated their performance to frontliners risking their time and health for the lives of all Malaysians.
This is a special tribute by the amazing talents of our Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO) for our frontliners who are working extremely hard in this trying times of the Covid-19 pandemic.

If the RTM Orchestra team gave us an eargasm with their rendition of Bahtera Merdeka, the Malaysian Philharmonic team decided to go a little international with their choice of music and played the main title sequence for popular American epic space-opera, Star Wars, titled Main Title – Star Wars Suite.
There are at least 38 musicians in the philharmonic team’s performance, and it is beautiful.
