Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced that starting 13th to 26th January, most states in Malaysia will be under another extension of the movement control order once again.
All activities are suspended and only essential services will be open during this time.
However, Malaysia also has many thriving online services that will be extraordinarily useful at this time, so that you can still keep your life on track without having to worry about the minutiae.
1. Grab
All Grab services will still be available, including GrabFood and GrabMart. Don’t worry about your makan time, just makan at home only!
2. GoGet.my
Have a GoGetter run any errand you need, whether it’s sending food to your parents or helping you sanitize the office. Just post a job and find help!
3. Kaodim.com
If you’re worried about being bored at home, it’s a good time to pick up some new skills! In addition to other services, Kaodim also offers lessons. See if you can request for a lesson in the comfort of your own home!
4. ServisHero
This is probably a good time to get stuff fixed in your house. That leaky faucet you’ve been ignoring? The air-conditioning unit that makes a thunderous noise? Well, you’re going to be home for a while. Why not make it more comfortable for yourself?
5. Foodpanda
Foodpanda now also has a grocery mart called Pandamart that will deliver fresh groceries to you anytime, any day. (Yes, it runs 24/7!) They are also running free delivery promotions until March, so why not give it a try instead of risking yourself with others panic-buying at the grocery store?
