As If Dating Isn’t Scary Enough, Try Doing It 150 Ft In The Air
We know, dating in Malaysia is a minefield.
Not only do you have to dodge nosy aunties and set aside a dating budget, there’s also the issue of finding new ways to impress your paramour.
Luckily for us Klang Valley-ians, Elements Kuala Lumpur and TwoSpicy Entertainment has a pretty cool idea for you and your date to hang out.
Say hello to Lounge In The Sky – a spot where you can
show your date a whole new world by dangling them 150 feet in the air for a
view of the KL skyline.
That’s right, live out your magic carpet/Aladdin fantasies
(sort of) with a ride on Asia’s first sky lounge.
After being securely strapped into your seats – by three
different belts, no less – you’ll “fly†up into the air for a belly-churning view
of KL.
Then, it’s 45 minutes of food, entertainment, picture taking
and for some, that odd swoop feeling in your belly when you realise that your
feet can dangle freely from your seat that’s a good 50 metres from the ground.
The good news is, there’s plenty to distract you from the
slight fear of heights.
For one, there’s the view.

As the point of “departure†is at Elements Kuala Lumpur in
TREC, the infamous TRX Tower is right by your side along with the glittering
Petronas Twin Towers. It’s also kind of fun to peer down at the party people of
TREC with their animated antics.
There’s also some delectable nibbles with a canape
platter prepared by Chef Steve Ariffin and mocktails by award winning bartender
Osmund Bernard.
But, the entertainment is probably what you’ll love. There’s
a live singer and DJ cranking out fun beats, so it become an aerial party!
If you’d like to make it a group thing, there’s private
table options for groups of four plus a champagne package to make it high
class (pun intended).
FYI, safety is taken pretty seriously at Lounge In The Sky, so you can put your fears to rest. There are lockers for bags, safety crew onboard and on the ground PLUS the Belgian experience is certified by TÜV SÜD, the German organization that validates the safety of products.
The only downside is the obvious lack of bathroom facilities in the air, so best relieve yourself right before lift-off.
After reading all of the above and the (tame) daredevil in you is intrigued, take note that the “flight†packages begin from RM199 per person and it lifts off from Tuesdays to Sundays. For the full details and booking, you can check it out HERE.
At the very least, you’ll have a legitimate reason to croon ‘A
Whole New World’ to your partner!
