BookXcess opens new ‘underground’ bookstore in Setia Alam

Great news bookworms, there’s a brand new bookstore in town!

BookXcess just opened its 8th outlet at the Sunsuria Forum mall in Setia Alam.

From the people who brought you the Big Bad Wolf book sale and Malaysia’s largest 24-hour bookstore, comes another whimsical hangout for all you book lovers out there.

The unique store takes on a ‘book tunnel’ theme.

Located on the lower ground level of the outdoor mall, the aesthetically pleasing shop looks like it came straight out of the pages of one of the many books on its shelves.

Visitors are welcomed by a towering circular bookshelf and a spiralling staircase leading to the underground bookstore.

Dig your way through the store’s decent collection of books for all ages. From art and design to literature, fiction and non-fiction titles, to children’s books and graphic novels.

Take a chill pill and cosy up at the many available work stations and reading corners around the store or simply curl up with a good book at the shop’s instore Wolf Cafe.

And for those with kids, the store features a rather magical children’s section complete with a mini-maze for young minds to explore and expand their interest in reading.
