M’sian reps for Hot Wheels Challenge Accepted Championship 2019 win chance to race in Manila!

It was READY, SET, GO at this year’s national Hot Wheels Challenge Accepted Championship 2019 which took place at the IOI City Mall Putrajaya, over the weekend.

The championship involves a fieryously fun, 3 stage time trial where child-parent teams navigate their Hot Wheels cars across unique and challenging obstacle courses

The contest was separated in 2 age-based categories; Junior division for 5 – 8-year-olds and Senior division for 9 -12-year-olds.

20 teams took part in this year’s national finals race.

And what a spectacular race it was as each team cranked up the heat in the fire-ce competition!

Tensions and cars were flying around everywhere as parent and kid work together using their creativity, experimentation skills and good ol’ competitive spirit with the fl-aim to be on top.

There’s no joke to it being a blazing hot match too…

Teams brought along their very own sets of scorching Hot Wheels cars, each with their own strengths and advantages and sped them on specially designed Hot Wheels track to extinguish the competition.

Hard work and persistence paid off for Muhammad Rafan Tan and his mom, Sadiah Shamsuddin, who took home the win for the Jr. division category.

The dynamic duo, Jasper Lim and his mom, Lim Soon Fong, lead the pack and won the Sr. division race.

The championship which also took place in 50 other locations across 5 countries will have winning teams from all around ASEAN contending for the top spot at the international Hot Wheels Challenge Accepted Championship Southeast Asia 2019 finals, which will be held this October in Manilla, Philippines.
