Our guide to 14-hours of non-stop fun in Genting

Ask any Malaysian and it is not hard to see why Genting Highlands is a haven and second home for locals, old-timers and international travelers who keep the fun going up in the hills.

Furthermore, Resorts World Genting (RWG) are revamping the popular destination with world-renowned clubs, themed bars, and food joints that stay open till late.

So here is an updated list (for 2019) of how to have fun from sunset till sunrise – all within walking distance at Genting SkyAvenue.

7PM: Fortify yourself at Beauty In The Pot

Craving for something warm and substantial to start the night? Find Beauty In The Pot at the rooftop of SkyAvenue, one of the must-visits for the world’s first health and beauty hotpot in the sky.

Enjoy the cool crisp Genting Highlands air while working your way through the combination of steaming soups, a bountiful array of meats and vegetables, and a rowdy group of diners.

Dig into juicy meat platters, fried beancurd skin or their homemade fish tofu; and make sure to dunk, stew and dip into a communal pots of collagen-rich broth.

You’re going to need some fortifying before heading out into the night.

8PM: Start off slow at Nicsmann 1940s by Lewre

If you’re more into quiet conversations over great drinks, Nicsmann should be at the top of the list.

Here you’ll find among the best selection of beers and the most detailed-oriented cocktails and liquor.

Grab a seat at this Kingsman-inspired alfresco dining spot and watch them work their magic with your drinking preferences.

Features like its elevated fire pits at the patio, dart machines at its plush bar, and an open balcony, along with soulful music, combine to create a relaxing ambiance.

8.45PM: Get into your groove at Rockafellers Kitchen + Bar

With everything from sentimental oldies to stirring rock tunes on the offer, true 90’s pop fans should find Rockafellers right up their alley.

Get into the rhythm of the night thanks to live bands playing local hits from the 80s and 90s on the low stage, with a DJ off to the side.

This chill-out Korean bar is extremely cozy, with both indoor and alfresco seating options.

Go down for a warm treat of mod-Korean fares made for easy pickings if you want to satisfy yourself with some bulgogi or army stew.

Or snack on plenty of classic Western and Korean bar bites to keep you fueled.
