Uniqlo is releasing exclusive M’sian food-themed stickers this Friday for Malaysia Day!

There seems to be a strange crossover happening in Malaysia
– our favourite foods are starting to pop up on our clothes.

Uniqlo is releasing Malaysian food-themed stickers this Friday
in collaboration with Bingka KL!

The Japanese clothing brand teased about the upcoming local
designs on their social media pages on Merdeka Day.

Working with local lifestyle brand Bingka KL, Uniqlo Malaysia will be releasing a collection of Malaysian-food themed stickers on 13th September to celebrate Malaysia Day!

The announcement made on Uniqlo’s Instagram page 4 days ago gives us a sneak peek of the yummy stickers that we can expect to see in just a few days.

According to Malay Mail, there are 6 unique illustrations of iconic cuisines around the country in the sticker series, which include:

  • Teh tarik
  • “Teh kaw” with Bentong ginger
  • Aiskrim potong
  • Nutmeg juice
  • Mee bandung
  • Keropok lekor
  • Nasi lemak
  • Kek lapis

These mouth-watering graphics can be used on organic cotton
T-shirts or tote bags.

Uniqlo customers can also customise their own UTme! shirts with typography, paint and other motifs. However, this customisation can be done ONLY on the Uniqlo app.

There’s another catch though, you can get the Uniqlo x
Bingka KL stickers only at the Uniqlo Fahrenheit 88 store in Bukit
Bintang, KL.

sells out!
