The Complete Guide to Counselling & Mental Health Therapy Services in Klang Valley
Feeling lost, down and having a bleak future are amongst the worst things in life.
Unlike on highways, where there’s Waze and Google Maps to help you navigate, life isn’t the same.
So we here at TRP decided to compile a list of places you can seek help.
Yes, we have checked these numbers and websites to make sure they are active.
Besides the 5 depression hacks we have discussed before, we have divided help into 4 categories; Public sector, Non-Governmental Organisations, private bodies, and Hotlines.

However, if you do wish to seek psychiatric help at any Government hospital, you can walk into any Health Clinic (Klinik Kesihatan) and ask for help.
Generally, they will pass you a DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) form to assess your situation.
A referral letter will be given to the right channels (for example to occupational therapy, counselling sessions, psychiatric department).
If they do find the need, they can also prescribe medicine for you. All for free (or for the fee of RM1 if you do not work in the public sector).
We hope this list helps you and your loved ones in a time of need for a lending ear. Drop us a note on our Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
