Waiter takes time to feed disabled customer

A picture taken of a restaurant worker feeding a disabled customer was shared in a WhatsApp group.

Najib Fiqri took a screenshot of that photo and posted it on Twitter.

I am so touched by this man who we call “mamak” who helps feed the disabled. I respect him 100%

-APex’s tweet roughly translated into English

In a short span of 2 days, it was retweeted over 27,000 times with nearly 20,000 likes.

Another user, Naqiuddinamia, claimed to know this anonymous samaritan saying, “his name is Imran, he only looks like a snob, but has a good heart working 5 years with sa maju. Good service. Teh tarik rarely disappoints.

Netizens all around social media also have been paying their respects to Mamak restaurant workers who tirelessly feed us our dose of roti canai and teh tarik.

Daud Amri of Facebook has even given out advice to youngsters to always be respectful to these hardworking restaurant workers.

May we always be respectful to everyone around us, no matter gender, colour or background.
