Of Good Friday and Easter Sunday
This April 19th is an important day in the Christian calendar; it’s Good Friday which marks the end of Lent.
And this year Christian civil servants are being given the day off to observe the day that, according to their faith, Jesus was crucified.
At last Peninsular Malaysia has caught up to Sabah and Sarawak where Good Friday is already a public holiday.
Following that, on April 21st is Easter Sunday during which a popular tradition is for children to participate in an Easter egg hunt.
There are several places in Kuala Lumpur where families can join in the festivities.
Here are 5 that we’ve found:
1. Bangsar Shopping Centre
There are various activities including easter egg painting and dance performances.
2. Empire Shopping Gallery
Also offers a Best Dressed competition!
3. Jungle Gym at Atria
There are limited spaces for the first 100 kids! So hurry up and register!
4. Ilham Gallery
For a more artistic environment for the kids that’s located right in the heart of KL.
5. Vease
Or for those who want to get their aprons on, there is a baking workshop in Bandar Sri Damansara that will be baking Bunny Carrot Cupcakes this Saturday.
