Bella & Syed Saddiq Get Blessed With Marriage Advice From Tun M

Actress and singer Bella Astillah and her fiancé, Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman recently met up with former statesman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad recently.
Sharing on Instagram, Bella, 32, shared Tun M gave the couple valuable marriage advice on building a happy and lasting union, which she greatly appreciated.
She also highlighted that Tun M and his wife, Tun Dr Hasmah Mohamad Ali’s enduring 70-year relationship inspired her.
In the same post, she admitted that she didn’t expect to be that starstruck by Tun M. Bella, who long admired Tun M, said the feeling of awe was similar to the time she met South Korean singer-actor Lee Min-ho and Indonesian singer-actor Afgan.

In another clip, Dr Hasmah was seen talking and hugging the couple close to her.
No reasons were given as to why the couple met up with Tun M, but many speculate it’s because the couple was personally handing out their wedding invite.
Bella and Syed Saddiq officially got engaged on 28 March 2026. Syed Saddiq proposed to her at the summit of Mount Kinabalu before holding a private engagement ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.
The ceremony also made news due to Syed Saddiq’s generous and practical “hantaran” gifts, comprised of a Tabung Haji account for Bella, and National Education Savings Scheme (Simpan SSPN) for both of Bella’s children, nine-year-old Mohamad Ayden Adrean and six-year-old Ara Adreanna.
The wedding date has been finalised, but the couple is keeping details under wraps for now. The reception is expected to be held across several locations in Sabah and Johor.
