Rediscover Life’s Playful Side At Edelweiss Weekend Unwind

In the current fast paced world, taking a step back and having a relaxing time with loved ones and friends is something to look forward to.
Well, that is what Edelweiss Weekend Unwind is all about, in the spirit of rediscovering life’s playful side and transforming one’s weekend with the simple joys of life.
This event has four aspects with the outdoor aspect being an open hill area which gives one the feel of going on a picnic.
Right in front of the hill area, there is a stage set up for DJs and singers to perform and keep the whole environment lively.
Surrounding the open area is a flea market which features 50 vendors selling items such as flowers, candles, temporary tattoos and many more. As for food, options are aplenty from Malaysian flavours to Japanese cuisine to pastries.
At the open area, there are two ping pong tables and a mini golf course.
The highlight of the event is the huge sign which says Unwind placed at the top of the hill with paints and brushes prepared for the people to show their skills and have an opportunity to take a picture with it.
Last but not least, the Unwind Bar is where they serve you the Edelweiss Wheat Beer and two brand new cocktails which were created especially for the event.
Visitors would have the opportunity to explore expert mixologists creating inventive cocktails with Edelweiss Wheat Beer.
While unwinding at the bar, customers may also feed their artistic urges by participating in ‘Sip and Paint’ or Jesmonite sessions.
However, currently visitors are allowed to redeem one drink from the bar while stocks last. They can either redeem one of the cocktails or a can of beer.
If they wish to have more drinks, they can always purchase a 4-pack from the flea market.
As the sun sets, the whole area is lit with beautiful lights which gives a warm ambience for one to just sit on the hill and enjoy the music and have a snack or two with the cocktails and beers.
This event is being held for four weekends (Thursday to Sundays) from 4 May to 28 May 2023 at Central Rooftop Garden, Lalaport BBCC and 2 June to 4 June at Penang’s Hin Bus Depot.
It runs from 3pm to 10pm.
