“The Great Era of Piracy” which is the first and largest One Piece exhibition is now in Malaysia, set to thrill anime fans.

The event is taking place at the Pavillion Hall, Sky Avenue in Resorts World Genting. It is organised by Ace Media Network (AMN) with an approximate investment of RM5 million.

One Piece has been ruling the world of anime since its birth in 1999. With over 1,000 episodes and over 2 decades of television runtime, stepping into the exhibition feels like a dream for fans.

Group CEO of AMN Benedict Wong said the exhibition is a tribute to the value that One Piece represents.

What to Expect

The exhibition takes visitors on a journey of exploration with Monkey D’ Luffy and his crew, including favourite memories of the Straw Hat Crew. It is a walk down memory lane that one should not miss.

There are 21 stations in the 25,000 square feet exhibition space which will keep visitors engaged from start to end.

The effort in the artworks that went into bringing One Piece’s favourite characters to life is indescribable.

The only way to describe it is that you have to be there yourself to appreciate the fine details of the artworks and sculptures.

There is more to the exhibition than artworks and sculptures, and one of it is the AR Games.

The AR games are designed to bring visitors into the world of One Piece. To participate in these games, visitors will have to download an app on their mobile devices.

The AR games not only give visitors the experience of bringing the exhibition to life but also bragging rights with the leader boards and social sharing feature.

They can compete with their friends to get the most bounty at the end of the day.

There are also mini games set up for visitors to enjoy with friends and family.

The pièce de résistance sits at the end of the exhibition where visitors will be able to witness the most significant and epic One Piece battles through a brand new 3D sculpture of the Onigashima raid.

This is only the second time the sculpture is being displayed.
