The famous English rock band, Muse, is finally coming to Kuala Lumpur again this July!

Wanna know the best part? Malaysia is their ONLY STOP in Asia for their Will Of The People World Tour. Malaysians, we are very privileged people, you know.

The last time they performed here was 16 years ago at Stadium Negara in 2007.

If you’re ~~living under a rock~~ unfamiliar with them, here are some popular songs by Muse: Supermassive Black Hole, Time Is Running Out, Resistance, Uprising, Hysteria, Compliance.

Maybe this will truly jog your memory.

Thanks to Hello Universe which made their announcement yesterday at Zepp KL, the two-time Grammy Award winner, Muse is doing their one-night-only concert in Asia and Malaysia is the only place they’re gonna be performing this 29 July.

As reported by NST, Adam Ashraf, CEO of Hello Universe said that this is a part of the company’s mission to position Malaysia as one of the preferred concert destinations for global superstars.

We are proud because Kuala Lumpur is part of this tour, and one of the exclusive (tour stop) in Asia.

Hello Universe hopes that this upcoming showcase can help nudge relevant ministries to really look at the potential of how entertainment events are able to be the catalyst to drive tourism.

He also added that the concert venue would likely be outdoors and is expected to accommodate 50,000 people. Details on the venue will be announced at a later date.

Hello Universe also plans to host an upcoming band audition, in which Muse themselves will pick the winners to perform as their opening act in KL. Terms and conditions will be disclosed soon.

You better get ready to fight for the tickets. Since Malaysia is their only stop in Asia currently, other neighbouring country fans will surely wanna book the tickets here too. So, set a reminder on the dates!

Even CAS tickets are sold out within the first 15 minutes! Rumour has it, Hello Universe is still discussing if they could do a Day 2 for CAS. Let’s just cross our fingers and hope for the best, okay?
