After news of discounted flight tickets and extra trains provided for Malaysian voters came out these past few weeks, now free busses are on the table too.

Three NGOs – Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Association Hall (KLSCAH) Civil Rights Committee, Sayangi Kinrara and Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Hokkien Association (SKLHA) Youth – have collaborated and organized a Free Bus Service to transport eligible voters from Puchong to their respective hometowns.

The organizer is purely to provide transportation convenience to the voters. We do not ask or interfere with applicants’ voting preferences, nor advocate which political party the public must vote for.

KLSCAH Civil Rights Committee

The three organization expressed their hope of more voters returning to their hometowns to vote. By voting, they are exercising their civic duty and will decide the future of our political parties and country.

Malaysians in the Klang Valley can apply for the free bus that will take them home to these 8 routes.

  • Tangkak-Yong Peng-JB-Pontian
  • Muar-Batu Pahat
  • Kuantan
  • Penang
  • Ipoh-Taiping
  • Alor Star
  • Kota Bharu
  • Kuala Terengganu

Instead of the regular TBS or Hentian Duta stations, the starting departing station will be in Puchong. All free buses will depart from Dewan Masyarakat BK2, Puchong, which is near the Kinrara BK5 LRT station.

The free buses are offered on November 18 (departure trip at 8 pm) and November 19 (return trip at 6 pm). They are available to all voters and the deadline for registration will be on November 16.

The seats are given on a first-come, first-served basis, so you better hurry up if you wanna save money on your trip going back. Click here to register and find out more details regarding the trips.

Additionally, successful applicants will be notified by the organizer via WhatsApp from now until November 16. if you’re successful, you must present the Whatsapp message as proof on the day of the trip.

Now there’s no reason to skip voting day since not only are there bus rides but there will also be extra train rides too.
