Kitten Falls Off Car, Gets Stuck 3 Metres Under Penang Bridge, And Lives To Meow The Tale

A fisherman in Penang spotted a kitten that had fallen off a car and ended up getting stuck on a pole, 3 metres below the Penang Bridge yesterday, 24 October.
The kitten is believed to have earlier entered the engine compartment of a car before falling onto the bridge.
The fisherman contacted the Civil Defence Force for help to rescue the scared kitten.
According to Friends of MCDF, the kitten was stuck on Pole 89 from Seberang Perai towards the island on the Penang bridge.
The rescuers used a lowering system after performing an A.R.C.H.E.R. check to ensure the safety of its personnel before attempting to save the kitten.
They managed to retrieve the kitten safely after about an hour and sent it to a vet for treatment.
Netizens thanked the rescue team for working together and showing great teamwork to rescue the tiny feline.
