A TikTok user recently shared a video showing a black dog dragging its hind legs across the road in Ipoh.
The person behind the video spotted the dog near Econsave Jelapang on the first day of Hari Raya and took pity on the animal. They believed that the dog was hit by a car.
The black dog looked really pitiful when it seemingly struggled to drag its legs back and forth on the hot road.
The person recording was also worried that the dog was in pain from dragging its lower body on the ground.
However, the jig was up when the dog stood up and walked normally when it was given attention.
A stranger passing by could be heard asking what’s wrong with the dog. The person recording the video couldn’t help but laugh at being scammed by the stray animal.
At least, the scam run by the dog didn’t lose anyone large sums of money.
Netizens couldn’t help but laugh too and admired the dog for its ingenuity. Some said the dog should be given an acting award like an Oscar.
