A group of teenagers who were out for fame on TikTok were caught pouring laundry detergent into a pond in Kluang Parade, Johor.
One of the teens poured laundry detergent from a bag into the whole pond.
While he did that, his friend gathered the soapy water with a plastic bag from the other end of the pond and threw it on the ground.
The bag filled with soapy water splattered on the floor but none of them bothered to clean up their mess.
Once they were done with what they came to do, they rode off in their motorcycles.
Unfortunately, the mall management passed the CCTV recording to the police and the teens were arrested.
Sin Chew Daily reported that the police arrested eight teens aged between 16 and 19 after they turned themselves in at Sri Lalang police station around 9.30pm on Tuesday, 22 March. Three of the teenagers are still in school.
The teens carried out their stunts around 5.30am last Sunday (20 March).
The police said the teens tested negative for drugs and are charged under Section 427 of the Penal Code for destroying public property and causing mischief.
According to Harian Metro, the police reminded everyone that anyone caught for vandalism and destroying public property can be charged according to the law without compromise.
