[Watch] SPM Students Visit Beloved Teacher’s Grave Once Exams Were Over To Show Gratitude

A group of students from SMK Seri Tasik in Cheras celebrated the end of their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations in a special way that has been lauded by many people.

Instead of throwing the usual parties, the group of students visited their teacher’s grave once their exams were over.

One of the students, Zeem (@azeemiskndr), posted a video of their trip to visit their beloved teacher on TikTok. The group sat around her grave and paid their respects.

We visited our teacher in her new home once we were done with our papers. Rest in peace, Cikgu Normala.

Zeem wrote in the caption of the video.

The touching and heartwarming video garnered 153.2k likes.

Zeem told World of Buzz that Cikgu Normala passed away on 25 February and that she was a kind-hearted person. She was a senior teacher who taught Science in the school.

Some of her students even visited her grave during the day of the burial. Her cause of death was not made known.

Netizens were touched to see the students’ love for their teacher and one of them said they felt goosebumps while watching the video.

They praised the students for their exemplary behaviour and wished them great success in life.

Netizens believe that Cikgu Normala must be happy to have good students like them.

Two relatives of Cikgu Normala were also deeply moved to see the students’ affection for their aunt and thanked everyone for praying and paying their respects.
