A young man was praised for thinking outside the box while helping flood victims at Taman Sri Muda.
Seeing that the flood victims don’t have an avenue to charge their dying phones, a young man brought a generator on his 4×4 truck and set up a makeshift booth to charge smartphones.
Based on the picture posted online, it showed people huddling near the truck to charge up their smartphones.
Netizens praised his problem-solving skills and were touched by his quick thinking.
They thanked the young man for going a step further to help others in need.
With his help, a netizen said it helped others to keep in contact with their worried family members.
A smartphone is a lifeline for many of us especially flood victims because other than keeping in contact with their loved ones, it allows them to call for help, keep updated with the news and in some cases, order food.
