Malaysians took time to amuse themselves when they saw ‘Cadet Kitty’ reporting in for duty at the Cheras Police Station.
Images shared by PDRM’s official Facebook page had placed the black-furred feline standing in attention together with the fuzz in uniform during roll call.
Most netizens were seen obviously overwhelmed by the cat’s charm and began creating their own fanfiction to bring the animals policing career to life.
“The cat is an undercover officer investigating the illegal activities of the Oyen Gang,” imagined one commenter, narrating the feud people have with oranged coloured cats.
“Sir, even though I’m only a cat, I’ll give my blood and soul for the force,” wrote another, making up conversations between the cat and the superior officer in front of him.
Some even bestowed the cat with the title of “Detective Meow”, while others took to sharing images of more feline agents seen “on duty” elsewhere in the country.
