Malaysian Surprises Lazada Delivery Rider With A Heartwarming Gift & Meal

A Lazada Express delivery rider was greeted with an unexpected surprise while dropping off a package in Kuala Lumpur. Instead of passing his parcel as usual to the customer, he was instead given a warm meal and told that the package was actually a thank you gift for him!
Malaysian singer Amir Hasam shared a clip of the interaction on his TikTok account, saying that this abang delivery usually sends packages to his house, but this time he’s delivering his own package.
Amir then handed over a warm meal of rice with home cooked sambal. As the thankful abang delivery attempted to hand over the parcel, Amir quipped “that’s also for you!”
Caught unawares, the shocked abang delivery rider couldn’t believe his ears as Amir explained it was a thank you gift for always doing such a good job.
“Is this really for me?” gasped the abang delivery rider before thanking him profusely.
The 40-second clip shared on TikTok has garnered nearly 300,000 views and 31,000 likes at the time of writing.
Some hope that this video will inspire others to spread kindness to the hardworking delivery riders who have been delivering packages across the country come rain or shine.

Many were curious about what’s in the box though
The Lazada Express delivery rider known as Abang Zai told TRP what was in the package.
“I was really touched when Mr. Amir gave me the chicken rice that day,” he said.
Admittedly shocked, Abang Zai was also pleased to hear that Amir was appreciative of his efforts.
Hearing that made me feel proud because I also understand that many people depend on Lazada for their daily needs, so I always try my best to send packages to customers as fast as I can.

So what was in that package, you ask… a bluetooth speaker!
It made me smile that now I have a free speaker at home. Thank you, Mr. Amir.
