Malaysians were captivated by viral footage of healthcare frontliners in Sabah performing a charming sing and dance number together with Covid-19 patients under their care.
The 32-second clip showed medical workers, dressed in full protective gear, singing a karaoke rendition of a popular East Malaysian song called Original Sabahan, from on top of a makeshift stage at a Covid-19 quarantine centre in Penampang.
Down below, their audience were seen vibing along to every step of the beat and looked to be enjoying the very special in-house entertainment.
The video shared by Special Advisor to the Prime Minister on public health, Tan Sri Dr Jemilah Mahmood, had netizens tearing up with joy and respect towards our nation’s frontline heroes as well as the resilience of the people in the land below the wind.
