Malaysians were impressed by the coordinated efforts of the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) who managed to fish out a cat from what could’ve been its watery grave in Puchong, Selangor.
11 firemen and a team of Emergency Medical Retrieval Services (EMRS) personnel from Cyberjaya successfully rescued an orange cat that somehow tumbled into a river in Taman Putra Perdana after a rainy evening on 17 November 2020.
Viral footage from the incident shows one brave officer being hoisted above the turbulent river, rappelling down to save the distress kitty that was clinging on for dear life on a pile of garbage stuck to one the bride’s pillar.
