As if he’s not busy enough battling the pandemic in real life, Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham is also tackling Covid-19 – animation style.
That’s right, Dr Noor Hisham has joined the animated universe of BoBoiBoy to teach everyone how they can be a hero to defeat Covid-19!
And yes, the animated character is voiced by the Health DG himself.
BoBoiBoy is a wildly popular Malaysian animated series and franchise produced by Animonsta Studios featuring a team of kids with impressive super powers who protect the Earth from aliens.
In this new Covid-19 public service announcement campaign, BoBoiBoy and his hero friends find their powers useless against the attacking virus.
But a new hero, in the form of Dr Noor Hisham, swoops in to ward off the nasty virus and teaches everyone how to become a hero using CAPP.
You don’t need powers to defeat the Covid-19 virus. All you need is CAPP.Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham in the BoBoiBoy universe.
CAPP is an abbreviation in Bahasa for preventative measures one can take to protect themselves from the virus, which are:
- Cegah – Prevent the spread of Covid-19 by educating your friends and the community
- Amalkan – Practice good hygiene to protect yourself from infection
- Patuhi – Comply with the SOPs set by the authorities.
- Pantau – Monitor your health status to ensure you’re free from symptoms before entering public spaces.
