Microsoft Will No Longer Support Internet Explorer Starting Nov 30

Internet Explorer is, all things considered, one of the most used web browsers in the world, but also the least popular. It is regularly made fun of for being slow and clunky, and many people only use it once: to download the other web browsers of their choice.
Finally, Microsoft has decided to pull the plug on life-support for the 25-year-old web browser, citing in a blog post that it will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) beginning November 30, 2020.
By August 17, 2021, all Microsoft apps and services will no longer support IE11 either, which means that users will be unable to connect to Microsoft 365 apps and services on IE11, face degraded browsing experiences, and not be able to access newer features.
Instead, the Microsoft team is replacing Internet Explorer with a newer web browser, Microsoft Edge, which they claim will enable better, more innovative online experiences.
For companies and clients who still use Internet Explorer, don’t worry. You can still access IE11 by using Microsoft Edge and its Internet Explorer mode for a standardized user experience.
For many who have used Internet Explorer since the internet was first invented, it’s like saying goodbye to an old friend. But all good things come to an end, and it’s time to let Internet Explorer retire.
