Our PM Muhyiddin Yassin’s Twitter Just Came Back To Life And Reactions Are… Mixed?
The official Twitter account of the 8th Prime Minister of Malaysia Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has just come alive. Or, what we assume is the official account, as it is not Twitter-verified.
His last tweet was back in February 27, 2016. Then, on 19 March 2020, fours years later, he posted his first Tweet as prime minister.
In the Tweet, he urges Malaysians to stay at home, which is something he’s been repeating for the past three days.
The art is by local artist Artortoise_full, which shows Muhyiddin walking with frontliners against the COVID-19 pandemic, visualized as a nurse, doctor, and police officer.
Naturally, Malaysians responded… the usual way Malaysians do.

And the ones who immediately demand for things…
Tan Sri, please take action on those arrogant company bosses who force their employees to work during the movement control order. These recalcitrants think money is more important then human lives.— KennyG@D 0_0 (@KennyGD001) March 19, 2020
