You Can Now Stream Netflix, HBO Go, And Disney+ Hotstar On Your Astro

Astro has partnered with streaming services so that customers can watch their favourite shows using their Astro decoder.

Astro customers can now stream Netflix using Astro devices and enjoy more value and savings through subscription packs introduced through the ‘Astro New Experience’.

This latest initiative allows customers to stream all of their favourite programs through Ultra Box and later, the Ulti Box as well.

Astro Group Chief Operating Officer and Astro TV Chief Executive Officer, Euan Smith said the latest pack is specially designed for customers who love streaming and are always in touch with each other.

Customers can enjoy the world’s leading streaming programs such as Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, HBO GO, iQIYI, TVBAnywhere+ as well as the world’s prestigious sporting events.

The latest Astro packages are ‘Primary’, ‘Entertainment’, ‘Sports’, ‘Movies’, ‘Entertainment Plus’, ‘Premium 1, 2, 3’ and ‘Platinum’ Packs.

For the ‘Entertainment Plus’, ‘Premium 2, 3’ and ‘Platinum’ Packs, it will be included with Netflix and Korean content.

Smith, in speaking at the launch of the Astro new experience on Tuesday (Nov 9), added that customers will also be spoilt for choices with horror shows, as well as entertainment varieties such as HGTV HD, Cartoon Network HD, and the best programs from around Asia.

Astro is always sensitive and listens to the needs of customers and streamlines all services from time to time.

This is especially for customers who want something that can meet their needs, by offering more options through a variety of great and interesting content, but at the same time has a more value factor.

At the same time, Netflix Vice President of Business Development, APAC, Tony Zameczkowski expressed delight in working with the Malaysian one-stop center for entertainment through the latest pack.

We at Netflix are so excited to bring a greater entertainment experience to a wide range of devices to more Malaysians out there.

Zameczkowski added that the collaboration with Astro would open up opportunities for more Malaysians to enjoy the latest content.

The Astro and Netflix partnership will provide greater convenience by having Netflix with their Astro subscription, providing easy access for payment in a single bill and they say at the ‘best value’ too. 

It’s a good thing Netflix doesn’t tie you down to any contracts and if you do subscribe to Astro, you can easily cancel your Netflix membership for a better deal through Astro and for convenience’s sake too.
