Special Committee for Ensuring Access to COVID-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) denies that Malaysians can speed up their vaccination process through MySejahtera’s HelpDesk.

After rumours have been circulating on the internet saying that it’s possible to do so by contacting their helpdesk, JKJAV said that the message is fake news.

Please be aware of a FAKE message circulating online regarding a method to receive vaccine appointments sooner. Please do not consult the HelpDesk for this purpose, as it has drowned out authentic complaints sent by the public to MySejahtera.

In the poster, the Committee also said that appointments will be given out automatically and in stages.

The news was also shared by the Health Ministry on social media.

Malaysians are getting desperate

After the statement was issued online, Malaysians were upset that there are no viable methods for them to get vaccinated although they’ve registered many months ago.

Many have also complained that their MySejahtera app is still stuck at the processing stage and has not given them any vaccination updates despite waiting for months.

One user also pointed out that this proves that the rakyat are becoming more anxious with Covid-19 and are desperate to find ways to get vaccinated.
